A day after his 68th birthday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated several development projects worth Rs 500 crore in Varanasi on 18 September.
He is on a two-day trip to his parliamentary constituency of Varanasi where he was received by Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath on Monday, 17 September.
The projects inaugurated include Integrated Power Development Scheme (IPDS) for Puraani Kashi and Atal Incubation Centre at Banaras Hindu University (BHU)
- The event was held at the amphitheatre of Banaras Hindu University (BHU)
- On 17 Sept, PM Modi interacted with ASHA workers and students in Narur village, Varanasi.
- Ministers from across the political spectrum wished the prime minister on his 68th birthday on 17 September
