1. (b) Colombia
Colombia would be formally joining the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) next week. With the move, Colombia will become the first Latin American nation to be a part of the alliance. It would be joining the bloc as a ‘global partner’, which means it will not necessarily have to take part in any joint military action.

2. (d) BCCI
The BCCI and United Nations Environment have signed an agreement to promote 'green cricket' in India. The partnership will focus on phasing out single-use plastic across stadiums in the country. Through the agreement, the BCCI will endeavor to reduce its environmental impact by greening operations and engaging cricketers and fans in green initiatives.

India has launched its second IT corridor in China to benefit from the nation’s growing software market. The corridor is expected to provide the much-needed big opening for Indian IT firms to enter the Chinese software market.
