2) Finance ministry's principal economic advisor Sanjeev Sanyal has been inducted as a full-time member in the Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister (EAC-PM).

3) Noted freedom fighter and Gandhian social worker Shakuntala Choudhary has died. She was 102-year-old. 
➨ She was popularly referred to as 'Shakuntala Baideo.' She was felicitated with the Padma Shri award in 2022 by the govt. Of India.

4) Jammu and Kashmir lieutenant governor Manoj Sinha launched a QR code-based mechanism for certification and labelling of handmade carpets of the union territory.

➨The ‘Digital Garage’, an innovation and digital collaboration centre, is the first such centre in Asia-Pacific, adding to the other such centres in New York, Pittsburg, Amsterdam, and Tokyo.

11) The number of dollar-millionaire households in the country has increased by 11% to 4,58,000 households compared to last year, according to the latest Hurun India Wealth Report 2021.

12) The Government of India, the State Governments of Karnataka and Odisha and the World Bank have signed a $115 million (INR 869 crore) Rejuvenating Watersheds for Agricultural Resilience through Innovative Development (REWARD) Programme.
