- Kenton Cool from Gloucestershire, South West England has scaled the world's highest mountain for the 16th time and becomes the first foreigner to climb the most Mt Everest summits.
- Kenton climbed the summit with his fellow guide Dorji Gyalzen Sherpa.
- Kenton also holds a record as the first British mountaineer who has climbed Mt Nuptse, Mt Everest and Mt Lhotse in a season in 2013.
- Recently, Kami Rita, a Sherpa holds the record to climb Everest for the 26th time.
