1) Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia inaugurated the two-day 'Smart Urban Farming Expo' in Delhi's Thyagaraj Stadium in order to start a movement towards mass adoption of urban farming in the national capital.

2) Union Minister of State Rajeev Chandrasekhar launched a pilot project to revive and promote traditional 'Namda' craft in Jammu and Kashmir.
➨The objective of these projects is to boost and preserve the traditional Namda craft of Kashmir and upskill the local weavers and artisans of the UT to enhance their productivity through RPL assessment and certification.

3) Sohan Roy, a Forbes-listed entrepreneur from Kerala and who has a passion for getting noticed in the film industry through his unconventional contribution to humanity and the world cinema has now become the first Indian who has been awarded the honorary title of 'Knight of Parte Guelfa' in Italy.

4) Paytm Payments Bank Limited launched the Paytm Transit Card, keeping in mind the vision of one nation, one card. 
➨The card will take care of users' everyday needs — from travel in metro, railways, state-owned bus services, toll & parking charges, to payments at offline merchant stores, online shopping and more. The card also enables withdrawal of money from ATMs.

5) Hunar Haat, organized by the Ministry of Minority Affairs at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, received the prestigious India International Trade Fair, 2021 Silver Medal for strengthening commitment to “Vocal for Local” and its strong presence at the Trade Fair.

7) Indian Railways is constructing the world’s tallest railway bridge pier at Noney Valley in the state of Manipur with a height of 141 metres. 
➨As a part of the ambitious 111 Kilometre long Jiribam-Imphal railway line, which aims to connect the capital of Manipur with the broad gauge network of the country, the travel time of 10 to 12 hours will be reduced to just 2.5 hours.

8) DBT-National Brain Research Centre (DBT-NBRC) have recently developed project SWADESH, a unique brain initiative focusing on certified neuroimaging, neurochemical, neuropsychological data and analytics that are made accessible to researchers for managing brain disorders.

9) Japanese director Masakazu Kaneko's "Ring Wandering", about an aspiring manga artist, won the top honour at the closing ceremony of the 52nd edition of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI), in Goa.
➨The film won the coveted Golden Peacock Award, which consists of a cash prize of Rs 40 lakh to be shared equally between Kaneko and producer Takashi Shiotsuki.

11) The Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan on Monday released findings of the National Health Accounts (NHA) Estimates for India for 2017-18.
➨It has increased from 1.15 per cent in 2013-14 to 1.35 per cent in 2017-18.

12) Indian tennis player Ramkumar Ramanathan won his maiden Challenger level singles title on Sunday, 12 years after turning pro, when he outplayed Evgeny Karlovskiy in the summit clash of the ATP80 Manama event.

13) The Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) adjudged Sadar Bazar police station in the Capital as the best police station across the country this year.
➨Two other police stations -- Gangapur in Odisha and Bhattu Kalan in Haryana -- were ranked second and third on the list.
