MP to give incentives for medal winners in Khelo India Youth Games

Madhya Pradesh state government has announced incentives for the players who performed well in Khelo India Youth Games 2020 in Guwahati, Assam. 

Incentives:

♦ The state players will be provided international level sports infrastructure, sports equipment, training in the modern and scientific methods, and all other required facilities.

♦ The government will give an incentive of Rs.1 lakh to the gold medal winner, Rs.75,000 to the silver medalist and Rs.50,000 to the bronze medalist of the Khelo India Youth Games. 

♦ Madhya Pradesh had won a total of 46 medals including 15 gold and 11 silver medals. In 2019, the state won only 8 gold medals in Khelo India 2019.

♦ In the Khelo India Youth Games 2020, the Madhya Pradesh state players have achieved these medals by excelling in judo, archery, athletics, wrestling, swimming, table tennis, shooting,  badminton, weightlifting, and boxing.
