1) Minister of State for Electronics and IT Rajeev Chandrasekhar launched the first indigenous server, Rudra, developed by the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) under the National Supercomputing Mission (NSM).

2) Russian President Vladimir Putin will pay a short visit to India on December 6. He is expected to meet with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the evening during which the focus of the talks will be the ongoing delivery of the S-400 missile defence systems.

3) Veteran Indian journalist Vinod Dua has passed away at the age of 67.

➨Dua, a pioneer in Hindi broadcast journalism, rose to prominence in the 1980s starting his career with state broadcaster, Doordarshan, moving on to other outlets including NDTV and Indian digital news platform The Wire.

4) Indian contingent bagged three more medals in the ongoing 2021 Asian Youth Paralympic Games.

➨The Tokyo Paralympian Kashish Lakra (F51) bagged a gold medal in the club throw while Laxit (F54) won bronze in the javelin throw. Sanjay R. Neelam (F11) clinched bronze in Shotput.

5) Kinara Capital, an innovative fast-growing fintech serving India's MSMEs has signed the Indian cricket team's shining star, Ravindra Jadeja, as its official brand ambassador on the occasion of the company's 10th anniversary.

6) Ratan Tata was named as the recipient of the 'Assam Baibhav' award for his contribution towards cancer care facilities in the state.

7) Elon Musk's aerospace company SpaceX successfully launched a Falcon 9 rocket carrying 48 Starlink internet satellites and two BlackSky satellites as a payload from the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.

8) Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated InFinity Forum through video conferencing. 

➨ The event is being hosted by International Financial Services Centres Authority under the aegis of Government of India in collaboration with GIFT City and Bloomberg. 

➨ Indonesia, South Africa and the U.K. are partner countries in the first edition of the Forum.

9) Gita Gopinath, a US national of Indian origin, has been appointed the first deputy managing director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

10) Researchers at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras have developed latest technologies in the wearable devices segment that would assist people with hearing impaired and motor disabilities to communicate independently.

11) The Prime Minister laid the foundation stone of the Delhi-Dehradun Economic Corridor (from Eastern Peripheral Expressway Junction to Dehradun) which will be built at a cost of around Rs 8300 crore. 

➨ It will significantly reduce the travel time from Delhi to Dehradun from six hours to around 2.5 hours.
