1) The Union Cabinet has approved the extension of Phase V of the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Ann Yojana (PMGKAY) for another four months till March 2022. Foodgrain under this phase will entail an estimated additional food subsidy of more Rs.533.4 billion.

2) In a pioneering initiative to take tourism deep into the state's interiors and rural hinterland, Kerala Tourism will launch the 'STREET' project in select spots in seven districts, which would help visitors experience the diversity of offerings in these locales.

5) Army chief General M M Naravane observed military exercise 'Dakshin Shakti' in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan with the Army and the Air Force taking part in it.

6) The Union Ministry of Tourism is organising a 3-day India International Tourism Mart in Nagaland from November 27 to November 29, 2021.

➨The annual tourism mart aims to highlight the tourism potential of the northeast region of India in both domestic and international markets.

7) The Hyderabad-based company has tested ‘Dhawan-1’, which is touted to be the country’s first privately developed fully cryogenic rocket engine running on two rocket propellants -- liquid natural gas (LNG) and liquid oxygen (LoX). The engine was test fired for about 20 seconds as part of the demonstration.

8) A first-of-its-kind programme to promote women in the field of research and development through lateral entry called "Women’s Involvement in Science and Engineering Research (WISER) program" was launched by Indo-German Science & Technology Centre (IGSTC).

9) Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today inaugurated the Gymnastics Academy of Jammu and Kashmir at MA Stadium. It is one of North India’s premier gymnastics training facilities.
