Defence Minister unveils A-Sat Missile Model in DRDO Bhawan

 Mission Shakti' was India's first-since forever Anti-Satellite (ASAT) Missile Test effectively directed in March 2019 from Dr AP J Abdul Kalam Island in Odisha, where a quick-moving Indian circling objective satellite in the Low Earth Orbit (LEO) was neutralised with pinpoint precision. 


Highlights:
♦ India directed an anti-satellite rocket test on March 27, 2019, which was named as Mission Shakti. The test effectively decimated a live satellite in the Low Earth Orbit (LEO). 
♦ Mission Shakti turned into a critical accomplishment for India for it acquired the country the line (fourth situation) with the US, Russia, and China to effectively forbid and capture a satellite in space dependent on complete indigenous innovation. 
♦ On March 27, 2019, an anti-satellite framework that was created by India's R&D association, DRDO (Defense Research and Development Organization) was tried to crush a live satellite in the Low Earth Orbit (LEO). The test was called Mission Shakti.
