India Action Plan 2020 Summit was held on 12 February in Delhi. The summit was organized by TV Channel Times Now, India's premium broadcast network. The keynote was delivered by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Aim:
The aim of the TIMES NOW Summit is to accelerate the 'New India' vision by taking a holistic approach in defining a constructive action plan for India.
Highlights:
♦ The two-day summit will have more than 25 sessions including topics such as social and economic progress, welfare, education, urban-rural divide, defence, sports, highlight need-gaps, identify solutions and set up the action plan for next year.
♦ Leaders and policymakers will drive dialogues on topics such as India's data security challenges, Vision of New India, Delhi election results, environmental & climate challenges, women empowerment, Citizenship (Amendment) Act, 2019 (CAA) & National Register of Citizens (NRC), state's view on national policy, economy, etc.
