Cabinet Approves Scheme for Ram Temple Construction at Ayodhya

Key Facts:-

1. PM informed the Lok Sabha today that the Union Cabinet has approved for Grand Ram Temple At Ayodhaya.

2. Govt. has decided to transfer entire67.703 acres of land in Ayodhya to the Shri Ram Janamabhoomi Tirth Kshetra.

3. Govt. has set up an autonomous trust, Shri Ram Janambhoomi Tirth Kshetra, for Ram Temple Construction as per the Supreme Court's Direction. This trust will be fully autonomous regarding any decision of construction related work for the said temple.

4. Ram Janambhoomi will have 15 trustee, onw trustee will always be from the Dalit Community.

5. Beside these Uttar Pradesh Government had approved the Supreme Court's direction to grant five acres to the Central Sunni Wakf Board.
