In view of Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) Notification in respect of 64th Bihar Combined Competitive (Preliminary / Main) Examination 2018 for Recruitment to 1235 Positions under different Departments likely in August 2018, Brief in respect of Bihar 64th Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination, Main Examination, Personality Test, Category-wise / Community-wise Merit Lists for Final Selection to the Posts applied for by the Candidates in the Later Part of this Information Bulletin.

BPSC 64th Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Test 2018 – Modality of Application:

The Candidates fulfilling the Stipulated Eligibility Criteria specific to the 1235 Posts may apply Online following followed by Notification released by Bihar Public Service Commission tentatively in August 2018.

14. BPSC 64th Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Test. 2018:

    Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) shall Conduct the Bihar State 64th Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination in the month of November or December 2018 carrying 150 Marks to Shortlist the Candidates for the Main Examination 2018 for 900 Marks, followed by Personal Interview for 120 Marks for Recruitment to different Posts based on the Category-wise Merit List drawn up based on the Un-Reserved Candidates’ secured Sufficient High Marks in both Main Examination and Personal Interview taken together. Physical Endurance / Efficiency Test shall also be conducted wherever Necessary forming part and parcel of Shortlisting / Selection to the Posts opted for by the Candidates.

    Procedure for Selection:

    Selection to the various Posts declared in the Notification shall be based on the Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Test for 150 Marks aimed at Shortlisting for the Main Written Examination carrying 900 Marks followed by Personality Test for 120 Marks where Final Recruitment to the Posts shall be Strictly based on Merit List drawn up category-wise putting together the Candidates’ Marks in the Main Written Examination and Personality Test as the Candidates Marks obtained in the Preliminary Test shall not be counted towards preparing the Final Merit List subsequent to the Candidates’ Character Antecedent Verification and Medical Examination to the Utmost Satisfaction of the Government of Bihar State. .       .
    Bihar Public Service Commission shall Host the 63rd Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination 2018 comprising The Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions .
