Workshop on Orobanche in Mustard

Workshop held on "Techno-Management Options to Control Orobanche in Mustard".

Orobanche:
♦ Orobanche is a serious hidden parasitic weed in mustard that can cause severe yield reductions of up to 50%.
♦ No absolute control measures have been developed for this.
♦ Also known as broomrapes, they are aggressive root parasitic weeds. They can harm strategic food crops such as legumes and vegetables and threaten the livelihoods of many countries.
♦ Severe Orobanche infestation not only leads to complete crop failure, but also causes long-term decay of the field soil, making it impossible to rationally produce legumes and vegetables in the affected fields for many years.
