Ephemeral Messaging Feature is now in WhatsApp

 The WhatsApp app has announced a new feature of Ephemeral Messaging (disappearing messages) to the platform. This feature will be available to all users worldwide by November 2020.

Highlights:

♦ The ephemeral feature is the mobile-to-mobile transmission of multimedia messages that would disappear automatically from the screen of the recipient after the message has been viewed.  

♦ The term "ephemeral" defines something that only lasts for a short span of time.

♦ Other messaging apps like Telegram, Signal, offer such an option already.

♦ Turning on disappearing messages - users will get some more control over which chats are getting saved.

♦ It has decided the time limit of all users is fixed at seven days.
