1. Health Plan for 10 Crores Families From 25th September 2018

• Pradhan Mantrari Narendra Modi from his address to the nation on independence day speech announce the worlds largest health scheme for poor families.
• This  Health Insurance will be covered under Pradhan Mantrai Jan Arogya Abhiyan(PMJAA)
• PMJAA aims to provide a cover of Rs 5 Lakh per family annually benefitting more than 10 crores families.
2. Former Cricketer Ajit Wadekar passes away..
• Former Indian Cricket Captain Ajit Wadekar dies aged -77
• He led the Country first Overseas wins in England and West Indies in 1971 
• He played 37 Tests and Scored 2113 runs, includingone hundred.

• ISRO launched 2 British Satellites via PSLV-C42 from Satish Dhawan Space Centre.

5. Exercise KAKADU-2018
• KAKADU is a multilateral maritime exercise conducted by Australia.
• INS Sahyadri reached Port Darwin in Australia for this exercise.
6. BIMSTEC's Fourth Summit was held in Kathmandu, NEPAL
• BIMSTEC Stands for Bay of Bengal Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Co-operation.
• BIMSTEC was establisehd on 6th June 1997 through Bankok Declaration. Its headquarter is situated in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
• Mumber Countries :- India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Nepal, Mayanmar and Thiland. Its prime objective is to promote Technical Co-operation among Sount East Asian Countries.
7. Sixth Region Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) Trade Minister's Meeting.
• Meeting was held in the month of August in Singapore.
• Indian Minister Suresh Prabhu leaded the delegation from India.
8. Asian Development Bank granted 346 million dollar loan for development of state Highways in Karnataka.
9. First SAARC's Agri Co-operative Business Forum was held in Kathmandu, Nepal. The themes of this forum was Organizing and Strengthening Family Farmers.
10. London Police recovered 12 th centruy icon stolen from Nalanda Museum of Lord Buddha which will be returned to india.
