जिंक: 

• जिंक (जस्ता) लेड (सीसा) के साथ मिश्रित पाया जाता है, और गैलेना चाल्कोपाइराइट्स, आयरन पाइराइट्स एवं अन्य सल्फाइड अयस्क में पाया जाता है।

• कैलामाइन जिंक का मुख्य अयस्क है।

• यह मुख्य रूप से मिश्र धातु बनाने के लिए और गैल्वेनाइज्ड चादरों के निर्माण के लिए उपयोग किया जाता है।

• चीन दुनिया में जस्ता की सर्वाधिक मात्रा उत्पन्न करता है।

• अन्य प्रमुख जस्ता उत्पादक देश पेरू, ऑस्ट्रेलिया, यूएसए और कनाडा हैं।

• जस्ता के प्रमुख खनन केंद्र: 

ऑस्ट्रेलिया: ब्रोकन हिल, माउंट इसा

लेड: 

• गलेना लेड का मुख्य अयस्क है।

• चीन दुनिया में सबसे ज्यादा लेड उत्पन्न करता है।

• Zinc is found mixed with lead, and is found in galena chalcopyrites, iron pyd other sulphide ores. 

• Calamine is the main ore of zinc. 

• It is mainly used for alloying and for manufacturing galvanized sheets. 

• China produces the highest amount of zinc in the world. 

• Other major zinc producing countries are Peru, Australia, USA and Canada.
