- James Anderson became the first player to take 100 wickets during day four of the second Test versus India.Anderson took the wicket of Murali Vijay in the second over of India’s second innings to reach the landmark. This was also his 550th Test wicket.
- Madurai Panthers won the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL 2018) title.
